The Barentu – Shambiko segment of the strategic Barentu-Mendefera main road is undergoing renovation and expansion.

As part of the strategic Mendefera-Barentu Highway route, new Shambiko – Barentu road is being constructed.

Indicating that the Shambiko – Barentu road has been difficult for transportation, Mr. Teame Ande, coordinator of the road construction project, said that the road work is being carried out by the cooperation of Bidho General Construction Company and the Adi-Halo Project. Kerkebet Dam: Birth of a Lake

Eritrea: Ministry Reinforces Nationwide Chick Distribution

As of the first week of December, 12,386 families have benefited from the program. The target is to reach around 40,000 families by June 2021.

The Ministry of Agriculture is distributing a million, one-month-old chicks to around 40,000 families nationwide until the end of June 2021.

The Ministry of Agriculture is working to distribute around a million, one-month-old chicks to around 40,000 families all over the country. The program is expected to last until the end of June 2021.

Danakali Shares Drop After Second AFC Loan Set to Fall Through

Danakali share price drops 7.5 percent today after the company says no tranche 2 AFC funding ($28.5 million) before the deadline.

AFC is in discussion with Danakali with a view to finding a funding structure suitable to both parties that will ensure the commencement of construction of the project as soon as possible.
