Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is hosting a delegation from the Government of Eritrea. The delegation is in the country to identify areas of collaboration between JKUAT and Eritrean Institutes of Higher Education.

The National Board for Higher Education (NBHE) Executive Director, Dr. Tadasse Mehari who is leading the Eritrean delegation, said his country is eager to start the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding signed with JKUAT whereby 18 Eritrean students have already joined the institution for postgraduate and doctorate programmes.  Continue reading Kenyan University Forging Higher Education Deals with Eritrea

UNDP Approves $188m for Eritrea Country Programme

The Executive Board of the UNDP has approved the new Eritrea Country Program following the signing of a new Strategic Partnership Cooperation Framework (SPCF) 2013-2016 with the Government of Eritrea on January 28, 2013.

Sunridge Gold Corp. (the “Company” or “Sunridge”) (sgc:TSX.V/SGCNF) is pleased to report the completion of the reverse-circulation drill program as well as encouraging initial assay results from channel samples from the Kodadu volcanogenic-massive sulphide (VMS) and gold shear zone targets located on the Company’s Asmara Project in Eritrea, East Africa.
