Eritrean Investors in South Sudan are Exemplary: Information Minister

The Minister of Information and Government Spokesman for the Republic of South Sudan, Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin, has applauded the Eritrean business community in his country for the vast investment they have made and described it as exemplary in fostering the already existing excellent ties between the two people and governments.

He put this remark when he met Yesterday the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, in Juba.

Minister Osman on his part conveyed message of congratulations from the people and government of Eritrea to the people and government of the Republic of South Sudan. He also asserted that Eritrea would stand on the side of the people and government of the RoSS in the same manner as it did during the struggle to the right of the people of South Sudan for self-determination.

Commending Eritrea’s contribution to the victory of the struggle of the people of South Sudan, Dr. Barnaba also praised Eritrea’s role in the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

Stating that Eritrea’s support to the struggle of the people of South Sudan includes paying human sacrifice; Dr. Branaba expressed deep conviction that such contribution would equally continue in an enhanced manner in the reconstruction endeavors of the Republic of South Sudan.

It is to be recalled that South Sudan declares its official independence on 9th of July 2011 and Eritrean president Isaias Afewerki becomes the first president to arrive for the celebration.
