MINES and Money London, one of Europe’s leading mining investment and capital raising conference, is opening its doors from December 01 – 05. The exhibition is bringing together over 3,000 investors, financiers, brokers and mining developers from all over the globe.

Conference organizers promise for this year’s event greater focus on emerging markets such as Africa and Latin America and more institutional investors and private equaty firms.

Exhibiting mining companies from Eritrea include South Boulder Mines (STB), with a core focus on the development of the Colluli potash project in Eritrea and Sunridge Gold Corp. which focuses on the development of the Asmara copper-zinc-gold-silver Project in Eritrea. 

South Boulder’s project is a 50:50 joint venture between STB and the Eritrean National Mining Company (ENAMCO) and is located in the Dallol Basin, an emerging potash province located approximately 350km from the country capital, Asmara, and 180km from the port of Massawa, the key import-export facility for the country.

Sunridge Gold’s Feasibility Study on the four advanced Asmara projects demonstrated very strong economics; NPV (10%) = $692 million, IRR = 34% and outlined a robust mining plan with Phase 1 production beginning in 2015.
