South Boulder’s project is a 50:50 joint venture between STB and the Eritrean National Mining Company (ENAMCO) and is located in the Dallol Basin, an emerging potash province located approximately 350km from the country capital, Asmara, and 180km from the port of Massawa, the key import-export facility for the country.

Sunridge Gold’s Feasibility Study on the four advanced Asmara projects demonstrated very strong economics; NPV (10%) = $692 million, IRR = 34% and outlined a robust mining plan with Phase 1 production beginning in 2015.
