Team Eritrea becomes this year’s Tour d’Algerie 2011 winner in the overall team classification with a time of (51hr, 17min, 45 sec). Team Morocco is second with (51hr, 21min, 54 sec) and Group Sports oil of Algeria third with (51hr, 27 min, 27 sec).
After the end of the fifth and final stage won by Eritrean Daniel Teklehaimanot, Azzedine Laagab of Algeria won first place in overall individually with a time of (17 hr, 06 min, 48 sec), before the Moroccan Adil Jelloul (17 hr, 07min, 07 sec) and the Eritrean Berhane Natnael (17 hr, 07 min, 07 sec).
The green jersey of the tour is back with another Algerian, Reguigui Youcef, the polka dot jersey of best climber was won by Morocco’s Tarik Chaoufi, while the Eritrean Natnael Berhane was awarded the white jersey for the most promising cyclist of the tour.
