KLEAR TV, the UK-based broadcaster, has announced that it will broadcast a special program (24th May) celebrating Eritrea’s independence day. Eritrea today marks the 22nd anniversary of its independence.
The station – which broadcasts on SKY Digital’s Channel 232 – will have its “Eritrea Special” at 16:30 GMT Friday 24th May and at 11:00 am – 12:00 am Saturday 25th May 2013.
Moses Kellie, Klear TV spokesman said, “ Friday’s show is a celebration of Eritreans at home and in the diaspora. Our feature will show the “real Eritrea” to the world.
“Since we launched last October, our whole ethos has been around promoting the lives, work, entertainment and the cultures and the real image of Africa. We are aiming to broadcast in every African country within the next year,” he added.
The program will also carry interview with H.E. Tesfamichael Gerahtu, Ambassador of the State of Eritrea to UK & Ireland.
