Miss Eritrea Leading on TopAfric Online Voting

As we get closer to the Miss Africa Bremen beauty pageant show, Topafric poll shows that Miss Eritrea (Yohana Tesfamariam) is leading with 14,933 votes, followed by Miss Gambia(Awa) 13,507 votes and still chasing is Miss Benin(Annick) who has 7,546 votes.

Over 42,000 votes have been casted in this online voting competition. People as far as Senegal, Lithuania, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Israel, China, Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Sweden, Eritrea, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Cameroon, and lots more have participated in this online event.  But majority of the votes came from Germany and Lithuania. 

The winner of the online voting contest will get a Tablet Pc on the day of the event (June 8th, 2013) from Topafric. She will also be crowned Miss Topafric on that very day.  But like the saying goes “its not over till the fat lady sings”.  There is still time to vote for your favorite contestant.  The online voting will close on Friday, June 7th @ 12:00 midnight.

Yohana Tesfamariam (Contestant #8) and she will be representing Eritrea.  Yohana is 19yrs old, she loves dancing, running, reading, debating, and planning events.

Her goal as Miss Africa Bremen is to introduce the beautiful culture of Africa to the community of Bremen. She believes Africa has astonishing moral values and the world needs to stop feeling sorry for Africans.

She would like to show how strong and bold Africans around the world truly are . This is her opportunity to achieve this goal.
