Nasair Eritrea together with the flag carrier Eritrean airline working hard to make Eritrea the new gateway to Africa

By TesfaNews,

Starting this month, the Eritrea based private and partner airline company, Nasair-Eritrea, has officially announced the start of two new flights to the east African countries of Uganda and South Sudan.

The new Asmara – Juba – Asmara route will be a twice-weekly flight that is on Mondays and Fridays while the Asmara – Entebbe – Asmara will be only Sundays.

The commencement of these direct flights will certainly relieve many travelers from the unnecessary long days of transits and unfriendly treatments they normally receive in airports such as Cairo International airport while en-route from Asmara to Uganda.

This is indeed a direct challenge for some of the traditional airliners like Egypt air, which dominates the Asmara – Entebbe route for many years without a challenger.

As of April of this year, Nasair-Eritrea introduced a number of flights to Dubai, Jeddah, Khartoum and Nairobi.

In addition to these destinations, Nasair-Eritrea has started to publicize the launch of its new direct flights to Mali, Chad, and Benin in addition to providing charter flights to Europe and domestic flights to the port cities of Massawa and Assab.
