Ato Neamin Zeleke today announced that he is resigning from his Managing Director position at the Ethiopian Satellite Television and Radio (ESAT) effective from January 1, 2016.
Burdens from other commitments and to make room for other responsibilities is the reason for his sudden departure.
ESAT Board of Directors, in the meantime, is looking for a new manager who would oversee the day-to-day activities of ESAT on a full-time basis.
Mr. Neamin has been instrumental in establishing ESAT Washington, D.C studio five years ago and served as the manager till 2013.
In addition to the Washington, D.C. studio, Mr. Neamin took the managing task of both the London and Amsterdam studio since 2013.
Mr. Neamin promised he would, however, continue to help ESAT in other capacities.
