President Isaias Afwerki today received the credentials of 14 Ambassadors.
The Ambassadors are Mr. David Ward of UK, Mr. Stefano Pontesilli of Italy, Dr. Andreas Zimmer of Germany, Mr. Christian Manahl of the European Union, Mr. Mohammed R.H. Dukali of Libya, Mr. Paul Malok of South Sudan, Mr. Fabio Massimo Cantarelli of Malta, Mr. Shabib Jovaijari of Iran, Mr. Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui of Pakistan, Mr. Juan Gonzalez Barba of Spain, Mr. Ivan Zivikovik of Serbia, Mr. Dominique Rossetti of Canada, Mr. Morten Von Hanno Aasland of Norway and Dr. Batilda Salha Buriani of Tanzania.
Following talks with the Ambassador regarding Eritrea’s achievements in the development and diplomatic fields, as well as relations of partnership with the respective countries, the President wished them successful tour of duty.
During the ceremony at Denden Hall in Asmara, the Ambassadors expressed the readiness of their respective nations to develop mutual co-operation with Eritrea on the basis of partnership, including that of trade and investment domains, political and diplomatic activities and the like.
PIA Receives Credentials of 11 more Ambassadors

(Asmara, 10 October 2014) – President Isaias Afwerki today received the credentials of 11 more Ambassadors.
They are Mr. Mamadou Mamadou Sall of Senegal, Mr. Michal Murkocinski of Poland, Mr. Tatsushi Tereda of Japan, Mr. Pak Won-sup of South Korea, Mr. Pak Chun II of North Korea, Dr. Burhanuddin Badruzzaman of Indonesia, Mr. Martin Strub of Switzerland, Mr. Abdelkader Hijazi of Algeria, Archbishop Hubertus Matheus Maria of Vatican, Mr. Roxane de Bilderling of Belgium and Mr. Yogeshwar Varma of India.
During the ceremony at Denden Hall here in the capital, President Isaias held talks with the Ambassadors regarding Eritrea’s achievements in the development and diplomatic arenas, as well as relations of partnership with the respective countries, and further wished them successful tour of duty.
The Ambassadors on their part expressed the readiness of their respective nations to develop mutual co-operation with Eritrea on the basis of partnership, including that of trade and investment domains, political and diplomatic activities and the like.
It is to be recalled that President Isaias yesterday received the credentials of the Ambassadors of UK, Italy, Germany, European Union, Libya, South Sudan, Malta, Pakistan, Spain, Serbia, Canada, Norway and Tanzania.
