President of Eritrea, HE Isaias Afwerki arrived in Doha today in the morning hours for a working visit to Qatar.
According to the Qatar News Agency, the President was greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of Environment Ahmed bin Amer Al Humaidi, HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Eritrea Mohamed bin Rashid Al Humaidi and HE Eritrea’s Ambassador to Qatar Ali Ibrahim Ahmed.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and President Isaias Afwerki are expected to hold talks on aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
President Isaias has departed today for Doha for a working visit to z Emirate to further enhance bilateral ties of friendship & cooperation.

[Asmara, 19 August 2015]- President Isaias Afwerki departed for a working visit to Doha in the morning hours today.
President Isaias was accorded a warm welcome by the Qatari Minister of Environment, Mr. Ahmed Amer Al Humaidi , on arrival at the Doha international Air Port.
President Isaias held talks with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in the early afternoon hours. The talks focused on further enhancing the warm ties of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two countries and, on international developments and trends of mutual interest to both countries.
The Amir of Qatar hosted a lunch reception in honor of President Isaias Afwerki.

Emir Holds Talks with President Isaias

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Wednesday held at the Emiri a talks session with the President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki.
The session dealt with the relations between the two countries and means to support and develop them in addition to a host of topics of mutual interest.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the session.
On the Eritrean side, the session was attended by members of delegation accompanying President Afwerki.
HH the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the Eritrean President and his accompanying delegation.
