PRESIDENT Isaias Afwerki and HH the Emir Sheik Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani , held a session of talks at the Emiri Diwan today (7 December) in the morning hours, according to the Qatar News Agency.
During the session they discussed relations between the two countries, means of enhancing existing bilateral relations as well as issues of mutual interest to both countries.
HH the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Eritrean President and his accompanying delegation.
President Isaias left for Qatar on a three-days working visit yesterday, 6th December.
On arrival at Hamad International Airport, he was welcomed by the Qatari Minister of Culture and Arts, Dr. Hammed Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Kawari.

President Concludes Working Visit to Qatar

(Asmara, 08 December 2014) – President Isaias Afwerki returned home today concluding 3-day working visit to Qatar.
During his stay, the President yesterday held talks in Doha with the Amir of Qatar, Sheik Temim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, on enhancing bilateral ties and cooperation of partnership, as well as issues of interest to both countries.
