Delivery ceremony for Massawa Airways first MA60 Aircraft in Xi’an, China
Massawa Airways (Massawa) has been cleared to operate its sole MA60, E3-AAV, by the Eritrean Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA).
The announcement comes after talks between Xian Aircraft Company (Xi’an Yanliang) and Eritrean officials in Asmara in November which lead to the aircraft’s type certification in the Horn of Africa country.

Eritrean Airlines Expanding its Reaches through Codeshare
Eritrean Airlines recently had entered in to a codeshare agreement with Alitalia via Rome to further expand its flight network as well as provide its customers traveling to and from Asmara with ample flight choices.

Eritrean and NassAir Merger

Mr. Woldemichael Abraha, has disclosed that, Eritrean Airlines and Eritrea’s privately owned Nasair have recently been merged together.
