Eritrea Seeks Strong Ties with Rwanda

The Eritrean government is looking to strengthen bilateral ties with Rwanda, according to its Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Osman Saleh was yesterday adressing journalists shortly after visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre [on 4th August] to pay tribute to the over 250, 000 victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi laid to rest at the site.

The minister, also a member of the Executive Committee of People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), Eritrea’s ruling party, is in the country on the invitation of Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF).  Continue reading Eritrea Seeks Strong Ties with Rwanda

Rwanda Observes Eritrean Martyr’s Day

June 20th was the day the people and government of Rwanda waiting to return back their heartfelt gratitude towards the people and government of Eritrea.

As Eritreans all over the world prepare to honor the weighty tribute of their fallen heroes on Martyrs day, the Rwandan government sends its delegation led by Mr. Joseph Karemera, a member of the Executive Committee of the Rwandan Patriotic Front and Chairman of the country’s Assembly, to participate on the event.
