Dubai-based flydubai has announced the addition of Eritrea to its African network. Direct flights between Dubai and the capital city of Asmara will commence on 25 October 2015 with 4 flights a week. The flights will mark the start of the first direct link between Eritrea and the UAE. ROME’s Fiumicino airport reopened its main international terminal on Friday after a fire damaged the airport’s Terminal 3 and forced airlines to cancel dozens of flights.

ETHIOPIAN Airlines passengers were forced to endure a frustrating experience when their plane had to divert to Mumbai’s primary airport twice on the same day.

THE Eritrean Airlines on Sunday announced launching a new flight services to Sudan’s Red Sea state capital, Port Sudan from Asmara.

QATAR Airways has continued its expansion into Africa with the launch of services to its twelfth new destination this year, the Eritrean capital Asmara.
