Nevsun Upgrades Mineral Resources Estimates in Eritrea

Nevsun has lifted the mineral resources estimates at its Bisha and Harena deposits in Eritrea. Measured and indicated resources at Bisha district now contains 959 million pounds of copper, 3.56 billion pounds of zinc, 840 thousand ounces of gold, and 46 million ounces of silver. This is without including the new massive sulphide mineralization at Asheli deposits.

Nevsun Reports $75m of 1.7% Copper and 3.0% Zinc at Hambok

Nevsun acquired the Mogoraib Exploration license from NGEx Resources that currently developing the Kerkebet deposit

Nevsun Resources Ltd. (TSX:NSU / NYSE MKT:NSU) announces previously unreported assay results from drilling completed by the previous owner of the Mogoraib River exploration license that includes the Hambok mineral deposit.

Nevsun reports that Bisha has started a resource definition drilling program at Hambok with expectation that the results will be included in a mineral resource estimate for Hambok that will be part of an overall resource and reserve estimate in Q1 2014 for the Bisha area deposits, effective December 31, 2013. A total of 2,713 metres in 8 holes were completed prior to the onset of the summer rainy season that has temporarily halted work until September. Nevsun Resources Ltd. (TSX: NSU / NYSE MKT: NSU) today announces its 2013 outlook for planned gold and copper production from the Bisha mine in Eritrea. The Bisha mine, operated by Nevsun’s 60 percent owned subsidiary Bisha Share Mining Company (BMSC), is one of the highest grade open pit base metal deposits in the world and has a mine life in excess of 12 years.

Nevsun Finalized Acquisition of Mogoraib License including Hambok Copper-Zinc Deposit

Nevsun continues to acquire potential deposits and exploration areas contiguous to its Bisha Mine

Nevsun Resources Ltd. (“Nevsun”) today is pleased to announce that the Bisha Mining Share Company (“Bisha”), a 60% owned subsidiary of Nevsun, has closed its previously announced agreement to acquire the Mogoraib River exploration license in Eritrea.

Pursuant to the Agreement announced August 1, 2012, Bisha has paid Sanu Resources, a subsidiary of NGEx Resources Inc. of Vancouver, US$5 million.
