On 17 December, a U.N. delegation concluded its three-day visit to Eritrea, assessing the country’s development advances and reviewing, with government partners, national development priorities for the next three years.

Headed by the Chair of the Regional United Nations Development Group (UNDG)  for Eastern and Southern Africa, Abdoulaye Mar Dieye, the delegation comprised of Regional Directors from UNDP, UNICEF, IOM, UNFPA, ILO and WFP. A UN delegation headed by Mr. Abdoulaye Mar Dieye, Assistant Secretary General and Regional Director of UNDP/RBA, and Chairman of UNDG-ESA Mission, recently visited Eritrea to monitor development work and engage in dialogue with development partners.
