A major newspaper based in Madrid, Spain, ABC Internacional, has reported that Azeb Mesfin, the wife of Ethiopia’s dictator Meles Zenawi has spent 1.2 million euros for clothing. (Read here)

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Meles Zenawi had a scary encounter in December when his aircraft made an emergency landing shortly after take off from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso’s capital, the weekly Reporter newspaper said. Meles was in Burkina Faso to attend that country’s presidential inauguration.
