FLY OLYMPIC and Eritrean Airlines have agreed to a reciprocal code sharing agreement to ensure seamless connections on a single itinerary for customers traveling beyond Asmara through Eritrea and to points in Africa and the Middle East.

In an interview he made with TesfaNews, Fly Olympic CEO Mr. Akis E. Airlines from Eritrea, Sudan and Djibouti Remain on EU Blacklist

2014 EU air safety list maintains restrictions on Eritrean Airlines

THE EUROPEAN Commission has updated for the 23rd time the European list of airlines subject to an operating ban or operational restrictions within the European Union — better known as “the EU air safety list”.

The list contains banned Air Operator Certificate holders from more than 90 airlines, mainly from the African continent.

New Airline Operator, Massawa Airways, Takes Delivery of Aircrafts

Eritrea’s third start-up airline operator, Massawa Airways (Massawa International , MSW) recently took delivery of its first two Beech 1900Ds, N46Ar (c/n UE27) aircrafts to join its existing MA-60 and E3-AAV aircrafts that were delivered in early December last year.

Nasair-Eritrea Begins Direct Flights to Juba and Entebbe

Starting this month, the Eritrea based private and partner airline company, Nasair-Eritrea, has officially announced the start of two new flights to the east African countries of Uganda and South Sudan.
