OLF Military and Political Wings Split

OLF army declare it splits itself from the political wing of the front
“From now on, we have decided to detach ourselves from the party in Addis Ababa and we have already established our own army command” – OLF army.

The army of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) has officially separated from the party, OLF, which is based in Addis Ababa, The Reporter has learnt.

In an official statement released by OLF’s army a.k.a. Waraana Bilisummaa Oromoo (WBO), the army said it no longer has any relationship with the party as well as the party’s leadership in Addis Ababa. Continue reading OLF Military and Political Wings Split

Ethiopia Army Conducts Air Strikes Against OLF in Western Oromia

The Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) today (13) conducts air strikes in Western Oromia targeting military camps run by the Oromo Liberation Army following a string of bank robbery.

Recently released Wikileaks Ethiopia files expose how Ethiopian security forces planted 3 bombs that went off in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on September 16, 2006 and then blamed Eritrea and the Oromo resistance for the blasts in a case that raises serious questions about the claims made about the bombing attempt against the African Union summit earlier this year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
