In this edition that was prepared bi-weekly by the Press Section at the Permanent Mission of the State of Eritrea to the AU and UNECA, topics like the OATUU International Symposium that was held in Asmara and Eritrean government’s position paper on on the symposium; new flights to Port Sudan by Eritrean Airlines would be covered.

Eritrean Airlines Launches Flight to Port Sudan

Eritrean Airlines – 23 Direct Weekly Flights to 7 Destinations: Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Khartoum, Port Sudan, Lahore and Rome

THE Eritrean Airlines on Sunday announced launching a new flight services to Sudan’s Red Sea state capital, Port Sudan from Asmara.

Presidents of Sudan and Eritrea to Launch Atanina 7

President Afwerki heading to Sudan to take part in the 7th Tourism and Shopping Festival

President Omer Al Bashir and Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki will launch tomorrow Sunday the 7th Tourism and Shopping Festival (Atanina 7) in Red Sea state.

President Isaias Afwerki will arrive in Port Sudan to take part in the launching ceremony of the festival, said Imad Seed Ahmed, press secretary of the Sudanese presidency, and president Al Bashir will take part in the ceremony and will go on to inaugurate several projects during the visit.
