The African Union has been to holds its forces into account following the killing of 14 Somali civilians by the Ethiopian contingent of a regional force fighting terrorists. urged
Among those killed were village elders, religious leaders, and Islamic school teachers in the poor rural community of Wardinle.
They were killed after troops fired shots into a hut where men had gathered to pray for a sick villager.

Radio Dalsan in Mogadishu, some 80% of residents in the capital believe Ethiopia undermines the sovereignty and security of its neighbor Somalia.
“As long as the Ethiopian army presence continues in my country, I will not be optimistic that the conflict facing Somalia will come to an end soon,” Ahmed Bille, a Mogadishu resident said.

Exploring the horrors of the South Sudan’s newest civil war
LAST last year, South Sudan’s president, Salva Kiir, accused his former vice president, Riek Machar, of attempting a coup d’état amid accusations of rampant corruption within the government. Infighting immediately broke out within the presidential guard, sparking what has now become a brutal tribal and civil war that has pitted Machar’s ethnic Nuer loyalists against the majority Dinka, who have sided with Kiir. Machar narrowly escaped assassination, fleeing to the deep bush as Kiir’s troops razed his home and killed his bodyguards.
And now the world’s newest sovereign nation is in imminent danger of becoming a failed state.
