Ali Kaya of Turkey cruised to dominating victory at the third edition of the Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon, an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race, on Sunday (24).

World Record-Holder Zersenay Tadese to Face Off Patrick Komon in Istanbul

Does any body doubt for this man to win tomorrow’s Istanbul Half Marathon?

Zersenay Tadese and Leonard Patrick Komon will face off in a rare road-racing clash at the 2nd Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon, an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race, on Sunday (24).

Tadese, from Eritrea, set the world record in the half marathon in 2010, clocking 58:23. Komon meanwhile set the world records at both 10km (26:44) and 15km (41:13) that same year. Zersenay Joins Elite World Half Marathon Field

Half Marathon record holder Zersenay Tadese of Eritrea has joined Britain’s Mo Farah and Kenya’s reigning champion Geoffrey Kamworor in an elite field for the world championships in Cardiff on March 26.

Half Marathon record holder Zersenay Tadese of Eritrea has joined Britain’s Mo Farah and Kenya’s reigning champion Geoffrey Kamworor in an elite field for the world championships in Cardiff on March 26.

Half Marathon world record holders Zersenay Tadese (Eritrea), Moses Kipsiro (Uganda) along with defending champion Florence Kiplagat (Kenya) and Meseret Hailu (Ethiopia) interacted with media at Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) 2015 Media Centre in New Delhi on Thursday.

Zersenay, one of the senior and most experienced athletes is ready to face the challenge from other competitors vying for the title. The first Eritrean to win an Olympic medal, he has to his credit six world titles – four half marathon wins and one 20km and one cross country in different events. Zersenay and Hizkel Sweep Half Marathon Gold and Bronze

Eritrean athletes Zersenay Tadese and Hizkel Tewolde today clinched Gold and Bronze medals in the Men’s Half Marathon race in Brazzaville while fellow athelete Samson Gebreyohans finished 4th.

Zersenay ran 1:03:11 to beat Kenyan favorite Luka Kanda.

Tadese and Kiprop Ready to Rumble on the Streets of Copenhagen

Does anyone doubt for this man to win his sixth world title tomorrow at the world half marathon champs in Copenhagen?

ZERSENAY Tadese will set out on the streets of Copenhagen in tomorrow’s IAAF/AL-Bank World Half Marathon Championships seeking to extend his unprecedented run of individual success in this event.
