The outgoing Chairman of the Somalia-Eritrea Sanction Committee, Ambassador Hardeep Singh Puri of India, has presented his annual report to the Security Council.
The Sanctions Committee for Somalia and Eritrea, which is now re-named as the “Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 751 (1992) and 1907 (2009) concerning Somalia and Eritrea” will be chaired by Ambassador Kim Sook of the Republic of Korea.
Ambassadors of Pakistan and Togo has also been appointed as Vice-Chairs of the Committee.
